Brief description

Lecturer, Department of Computing Science, University of Glasgow

Who am I?

I am a lecturer in the Department of Computing Science, University of Glasgow and a member of the Software Engineering group there. Until July 2009, I was a post-doctoral research fellow in the School of Computer Science, University of St Andrews. My research interest is in the dependability of software and socio-technical systems. I am also interested in the teaching of programming and visualisation of program structure and execution for teaching purposes.

I am a (very bad) distance runner in my spare time. I like walking and camping and I've also started getting into golf due to the influence of my Dad.
